The reason why i decided to choose close-up is because i thought it would be a good experiment to do and it will be interesting to take images of objects and be able to capture images that you might not be able to see in the naked eye. The photographers that i researched that does close-up was, Graham Owen, Keith Taylor, Ansel Adams, i liked these photographers images because i did close-up nature like theres. The artist i really like is Keith Taylor because his images stand out the most to me because i find them very interesting and the images gave me ideas of doing close-up nature. I discovered this artist by looking for famous photographers and i found his images. This has helped me understand photography by showing me its not just pictures its about techniques and how you choose to take the image. The themes i have explored is close-up and nature the theme that worked well was close-up because thats what i used for my final mock piece, but i also used nature for these images as they show good close-ups. The material i used was iPod and cameras, the techniques used was focusing on the main part of the image and making sure the back-ground was blurred. What i found challenging was trying to take close-ups of nature but trying to find different flowers that i haven't taken images of already or trying to make my images look different to the other images. Through the whole process i have changed my ideas because at first i was taking images of just everything close-up but they didn't stand out to me as good images because some of the images was strange and didn't really look good thats why i chose to do close-up of nature because i thought they had more colour and looked more interesting.
